Term Three Activities
Welcome to an exciting Term three! It's looking like a busy term with, NAIDOC Day, Grandparents Day, district athletics, Book Week, the spelling bee and much more!
This term Marring will be studying traditional and modern Indigenous Literature. This will include the study of Dreaming stories, traditional Aboriginal artwork, and contemporary Aboriginal authors Bronwyn Bancroft and Anita Heiss.
Marring will be studying Geography this term. The class will have the opportunity to practice their research skills as we cover many interesting and engaging topics. Students will write research reports about an Australian state, and investigate "Australia's Neighbours" in the world. We will have the fantastic opportunity to hear and interview a guest speaker as we explore human impacts on the environment.
The class will be studying Science again this term during our topic "Built Environments". Students will investigate the purpose and functions of different built environments and factors that influence design.
