Term Three Activities
During this term we have enjoyed NAIDOC Day and Grandparent's Day activities and a wonderful Geography excursion to Killalea State Park.
We had lots of adventures at Killalea climbing hills, wandering into magical rainforests, sketching landscapes and landforms, watching for black swans using binoculars from our camouflaged hides, looking for animal footprints in a creek bed, making soap from a special grass and a fantastic run along the beach.
We have also been exploring natural and built environment in our Science unit and constructing some
challenging buildings in our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) activities. We
enjoy wearing our engineer helmets and high viz shirts.
